GAPS (Grainfree) Bread rolls

Bread is one of those things that most people at some point in time say they really miss, or they say at the start they really struggle not to have. So here is a recipe that is really good, turns out well and can be used for all sorts of things like GAPS Hamburgers!

Makes approx. – 10 rolls


  • 80 grams of coconut flour
  • 25 grams of chia seeds
  • 85 grams linseeds
  • 25 grams sunflower seeds
  • 3 tsps baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2tsp coconut oil
  • 400 grams of water


  1. Grind linseeds into a powder (you can do this with a thermomix, food processor or a coffee grinder)
  2. Add other dry ingredients and blend slightly
  3. Add wet ingredients and mix for 2 mins
  4. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Dampen hands and shaped into palm size bread rolls.
  6. Bake at 200c for 20-30 mins, until golden and light and puffy.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or put in the freezer for longer storage.
