It’s time to stop the panic

It’s time to STOP the PANIC!!! 🙌🏻

I often talk about how our health is our superpower… and it TOTALLY is!!! 🦸🏻‍♀️

Right now we have a great opportunity within the current global climate to reminder ourselves how to support our bodies and our health, naturally.

🌱… to start asking ‘what does my body need right now?’
🌱… to start asking ‘Is there something else I need to do to support it?’
🌱… to ask our bodies ‘how can I nourish you even more?’

Also in Australia we are heading into winter… which really is always a good time to start talking about and ACTIONING the things that will support and help our immune systems as we head into the winter months. ☃️🌨❄️

I would like to point out as well, that it is not COVID-19 itself that is the CAUSE of death- it is the secondary infections like Pneumonia for example that are the cause of death… that have developed after contracting COVID-19; just as it is for many other viruses that are similar: i.e. the flu- so it’s extra important to make sure that you’re in the body health you CAN be in, right now!

—->>> To be clear “The Corona Virus” has been around for a long time… we have known about it from microbial point of view since the 1960… Under a microscope, the viruses have crown-like spikes protruding from their surfaces. Covid-19 is a new strain of the corona virus discovered last year, thus the ’19’.

👉👉👉 So there is a lot of fear going around at the moment, so I thought I would share my TOP 10 TIPS to help support your immune system… our “super defenders”. 🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️

*** My tips are things that I do in MY home, and for my family, that have the potential to support your general health and well being- along with immune support. They are not ‘proven actions’ to prevent or treat or ‘cure’ the coronavirus infection. ❗️❗️❗️***


1️⃣ Eat Fresh! 🍋🍊🍑🥑🍐🍇🥭🥒🥬🥕🥦

👉 Right now we are seeing some crazy actions from some with how they are shopping…. for example Coles online deliveries have had an order this week of $3500 worth of pantry items! 😵😵😵

What we can see from the fear shopping is that people are stocking up on foods that higher in glucose rich foods, which SLOW DOWN the immune response… 😞😞😞

…. which means, people are leaving BEHIND the fresh veggies, fruits and meals. 🥳🥳🥳

All the foods that will help to support good health. SO go shop for those —>>> You can’t eat toilet paper!

Include as much fresh veggies and fruits as possible.


2️⃣ Use soap!!! 🧼 🧼 🧼

Wash your hands regularly- and soap is the best thing you can do that with. We can see from side by side testing that soap does a great job at helping us to limit the spreading of germs.


3️⃣ Get outside in the sun. ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

Vitamin D is super important to developing and supporting a good immune system… So spending 15 mins out in direct sunlight, is an awesome way to increase your vitamin D levels.

4️⃣ Consume Sauerkraut and other fermented foods 🥗🥃🥛

Fermented foods are FULL of probiotics and prebiotics… with 80% of our immune system being in our gut, making sure your gut health is being looked after is HIGH on the list to support good immune function.


Also Sauerkraut is high in Vitamins and minerals… particularly Vitamin C (which many of the good brands are sold out of at the moment).


5️⃣ De-stress 😤😤😤

Chronic, long term and unmanaged stress is a big factor in lowering our immune capacity… our body can’t tell the difference between the stress of being chased by a tiger and stress that you’re going to run out of toilet paper. Stress is stress! and your body will always give in to the stress response, because it wants your to get away from the things that are stressing you!


So lower your stress where you can. Get out of the fear cycle that is currently being perpetuated by the media.


6️⃣ Drink Water 💦 💦 💦

Many of my clients are actually chronically dehydrated because they aren’t drinking enough water. Chronic dehydration can cause damage to the kidneys and leave your body in a weaker position- and if you get sick, fluids are on the top of the list to help you recover and maintain good health.

7. BREATHE! 🌬 🌬 🌬

Deep breathing lowers your stress hormones, calms the body and supports good lung function. And while you’re breathing you might want to add house plants to create good quality air in your home. You may also like to add pure essential oil defusing in your home as well, with my top recommendations being:

🌱 bergamot,
🌱 eucalyptus,
🌱 geranium,
🌱 cinnamon,
🌱 lemongrass and
🌱 thyme oil

8. Limit the flow of toxicity in your home. 🧪🧪🧪

Reduce, Limit, Remove – Household chemicals, food chemicals, and anything that causes an immune response for you and your family.


Go Green and Clean with things like essential oils, bi carb, vinegar and etc.


Reduce the processed food items that your household is consuming, take this opportunity to learn to bake and make, and save some MONEY and HEALTH as you do it.


9. Increase your detoxing support items. 🛀 🛀 🛀

Detox baths, a bath with Epsom salts is a great way to help you relax, increase your magnesium levels, and support your immune system.

Other suggested detox tools: Clay, Seaweed, Bi Carb, ACV, Kombucha.


10. Soups and Stews 🍲 🥣 🥘

Remember a good homemade chicken soup can be the best things to consume as the weather starts to cool down, and the top of my list when it comes to feeding my family. And there is so much you can add into a chicken soup from a herbal and nutritional point of view.
