Milk Kefir Herbal Salad Dressing.

People often ask me about how I use milk kefir, and my answer is a lot of things from smoothies, cream cheese, making sour cream, ice cream, cakes, as well as using if for all sorts of ailments and wound healing purposes.  Included in the list that I normally give people is this on, how to use milk kefir to make an awesome creamy salad dressing that everyone loves including your non-healthy (normally turn their nose up at anything different) type of friends and is just another way of adding kefir to our diets to improve our gut health. It’s also adds that zing to liven up a salad!

Milk Kefir salad dressing


  • 2 cups of plain milk kefir
  • 2TB olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 TBS, fresh herbs of your choice, parsley, chives, basil, cilantro ( I used a your inspiration at home herb mix for mine)
  • 2 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. raw Honey
  • 2 tsp. Mustard


  1. Whisk the kefir, honey, oil, and juice together until smooth.
  2. Add in herbs and mustard.
  3. Cover and store in the fridge.
  4. Stores for a week or two.
