90-Day Quest: Resolving Hyperinsulinemia


I have a question for you…

So what is Hyperinsulinemia???

Well essentially it’s where your body is producing high levels of insulin… and then it has to release (if you not consuming glucose and carbs) glycogen to match the hyper (high) insulin levels.

This cycle makes it harder and harder to burn off the excess body fat that you’ve stored, meaning that when you’re trying to reduce your body family, you fighting your body… because it can’t release those stores for energy use and conversion and you put your body into starvation mode… where it starts burning protein for fuel and breaks down your muscles for a food source.

When that happens leptin is signalled and your body starts screaming at you for food.

Once that cycle is triggered… only those with the highest level of willpower will be able to last for a long period.

UNLESS you know the pathway out of this cycle… and that is what this 90-day quest is about… bypassing and hacking the cycle to make it work for you, instead of against you.

Our hormones play a massive role in health

And in particular weightloss… as they change things like a metabolic rate and speed and energy production.  For many that have been working on supporting their bodies through weight loss, metabolic health is super important to making that hard work create results.

All of which requires us to assess and look at how your body is functioning or not functioning to it’s optiumal levels. 

Things like the thyroid and adrenals all play an important role, as so too does the insulin and glucose balance. 

Many of my clients have found that on their journey to achieve the health and body they desire… hit a wall. And that wall tends to be in the space of insulin resistance, other wise known as Hyperinsulinemia… too much insulin, high levels of insulin in blood. 

Hyperinsulinemia prevents the body from being able to unlock some of the fat cells, preventing them from being able to convert to ketones and a fuel source for the body to use. So when you starve the body of glucose and you have hyperinsulinemia… your body is going to struggle to burn fat… until we lower the insulin and make that fat available.

And that is what this 90 day quest is all about! 
Going on a journey to discover what will support you in healing not only the damage but also the trauma that has been done to your body over the decades. 

Breaking this cycle of insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia is vital when it comes to making real headway when it comes to reversing health issues and significant weight issues.

It is for this reason that I’ve created this 90 day quest.

To practicially impliment strategies and techniques to allow your body to open up it’s reserves and move you out of resistance! 

Where together, you, me and group of awesome women will be implimenting not only different fasting tools and discovering the impact they have on our bodies… but also working through the emotional resistance that keeps cycling us through the self sabotaging patterns, keeping us in this never ending battle with weight, self loathing and hopelessness.  

It’s time to get unstuck… and shake through the resistance, so we can reclaime more of who we are and the joy in our lives.

Each week we will have a focus for us to journey through as we discover how our personal body responds and what emotional work comes up as we shift the stagnat weight on our beings.
